• About this blog

In my blog I share my work and my experiences as a professional architectural and interiors photographer, as well as considering both the aesthetics, business and techniques of architectural photography. I want to further the appreciation of representing architecture and related concepts for both those seeking to practice architectural photography as a profession, and for architects looking to record and represent their own work more effectively whether on line or in prints.

iPad portfolio app, Foliobook

I’m slightly embarrassed by this accolate as posting has been far thinner than I’d intended. As it happens this post came just a day after I’d written a new post to be released soon about how to find markets for architectural photograph, [...]

Spaceport America – Runway Construction

New Mexico Spaceport Construction

One of a series of aerial photographs I made of the construction at the Spaceport America site in late October last. The pilot flew brilliantly and enabled me to get a set of perfect elevations of this 10,000 foot, 200 wide monster runway. This is the site where Virgin Galactic plan [...]

Hospital Radio Pod

If hospital radio conjures up an image of Alan Partridge soundalikes playing their hitlist from the early 1980’s, then think again. This hospital radio station was designed by Studio 4 architecture and exudes coolness, perched on the edge of a vast atrium within Chelsea and Westminster Hospital. I photographed its exterior and interior while shooting [...]

Hyde Park Vistas

Hyde Park Vistas

I photographed Hyde Park in late Autumn for a design company who needed some shots of the view from a still to be built property on Park Lane. In truth schedule mismatches meant that I ended up shooting this a little too late in the season as by early November, sun angles are very low [...]
